The second re-design of the famous Maid Marian from the tales of Robin Hood.

I have given the story behind my version a re thinking too, and have decided against going over the top with the futuristic theme. Instead this version will take place in a classical roman setting but with world changes and a technological advancement.

This painting shows Maid Marian in her battle armour, which will explain why there is no bow in this version. There will be another painting showing her in a more subtle armour allowing for the bow to be used at its fullest.

She is looking up at the sky and thinking about her Robin Hood back home. The huge ring in the background will be discussed more later, once i pin it down for certain. Or maybe ill just let you guys imagine what you think it is.

The weopon is a type of axe/chainsaw. which can, flick up and down depending on the attack move. I was thinking in the story the sherrif of nottingham would be cutting down and burning some of the great forest. So thought of the eye for an eye. You cut down our forests, we will cut down your limbs!

Personally i feel this is a turning point for me in terms of my skill and feel humbled at how far ive come. Sure there are some mistakes, rest assured i try and learn from each one. Anyway, enough of my babbling, thankyou for all your comments and crits, they mean a lot to me and my advancement.

Armour was based on a mixture of images and my own imagination. While the background was from my imagination.
